Thank you again for all of your prayers so far on this trip! Today was a great day! We went back to the same school we have been going to since Monday. It was nice to see all the familiar faces, and sweet to see how the kids remembered our names.
In the morning, we were able to do a concert for the sixth graders, then share the gospel through different lessons. We were also able to do several Bible lessons and songs with an eighth grade class. My favorite subject still hasn’t changed since elementary school, and that’s recess! But this time, it’s not because I’m getting out of school, but because during recess you can talk and play with all of the kids more individually, and make good connections with them.
After lunch, several of us helped out in the kindergarten classes, and the rest of us were off to 3rd grade to do another concert, more Bible lessons, and songs. Today was our last day with the younger kids. One of the sweetest things was how sad they were to say goodbye. Some of them even left class to come give some of us extra hugs goodbye.
Back at the camp we a great barbecue dinner, followed by a worship and testimony service with the team. Tomorrow will be our last day at the school we have been going to all week, so we appreciate the continued prayers for open doors to share the gospel!
