This was the first morning of us actually waking up in Chile! Our cabins are located right on the edge of a beautiful lake. After breakfast, we all jumped into the vans and drove to the base of volcano Villarrica. We were able to hike a portion of the volcano and enjoy a picnic. Then, we went to explore different shops in the city of Pucón and try different chocolates and coffees. After enjoying a few more amazing views of different mountains, we went back to camp. Once we reached the camp again, we ate a traditional Mapuche dinner (a large indigenous tribe located in Chile) prepared by the amazing camp kitchen staff. We finished off the night with prayer and preparation for visiting the schools and presenting the gospel through creating salvation bracelets.
