Ivan and Nikol Maluenda are our hosts in Chile. They are a young Chilean couple who are dedicating their lives to reach young people for Christ. Ivan is the Director of Camp Pirque, a very active Christian camp located on the outskirts of Santiago, the capital city of Chile. The Maluendas are associated with the Gospel Mission of South America (GMSA). Ivan got a college degree in Industrial Graphic Design, and he and his wife have just completed studies in the GMSA seminary in Santiago. We have been working with them for the last four years and they have made many friends in our college. In August of 2019, they visited our campus in Pensacola. Ivan and Nikole homeschool their three daughters. Ivan has also supported YOM with his expertise in camp ministries. He recently visited camps in France and Spain as well as in the US. He is probably one of the most knowledgeable camp directors in South America.
